Hatching Eggs

We take great care to ensure our hatching eggs are packaged so as to remain damage free up until the point of posting. The eggs are wrapped in tissue paper, placed in thick polystyrene boxes and have “fragile” tape around the box, as well as “eggs, please handle with care” on the shipping label. However, we are not liable for the handling of the eggs once they are in the postal system. For best hatching practice once the eggs have arrived, leave them pointed end down at room temperature for 12-24 hours before putting them in the incubator. Set incubator at 37.5°C with 45% humidity for the 1st 18 days, then 65-70% humidity for the remaining 3 days. Any variation to this can have a significant affect on hatching. When you candle the eggs at 7 days and believe 50% to be infertile, contact us immediately. We take no responsibility after 7 days if your eggs do not hatch.
